Our History

  1. Established by the Macedonian Community (Royal Park, Parkville)

  2. The Makedonia Soccer Club, as it was originally known, became a registered member of the Victorian Soccer Federation and began playing in sanctioned competition.

  3. Move to Cochrane Reseve, Collier St, Preston and adopted name Preston Makedonia

  4. Victorian Metropolitan League Division One Champions

  5. Promoted to the state’s top competition, the Victorian State League

  6. Demoted back to Victorian Metropolitan League

  7. Victorian Metropolitan League Champions, promoted back to the Victorian State League.

  8. Victorian State Champions and winner of the inaugural Victoria Cup.

  9. The need for much larger facilities became apparent and the club moved to its current home base at B.T. Connor Reserve in nearby Reservoir.

  10. Promotion to the National Soccer League

  11. The Preston Makedonia Social Club built and opened

  12. NSL Cup Final, Dockerty Cup Final and the Southern Division Grand Final

  13. Winner Gold Cup Night Series

  14. Winner Dockerty Cup trophy

  15. Preston played their last match in the NSL

  16. Victorian Premier League Champions

  17. Formation of Women’s Program

  18. Victorian Premier League Champions

  20. Victorian State League One North West Champions

  21. Senior Men Promoted to the NPL and Women WVPL
